Alright, so I was on the on ramp getting onto the highway in SS. As I tried to shift into third it wouldnt go. I didn't try to shift down, but all i know was it wouldn't upshift. I even put it in auto and nothing. So I just stayed in the slowlane @about 6krpm for less than half a mile to the next exit. As I came to a stop at the end of the exit it downshifted into first and I had no problems after that? Is my tranny goin bad...Im at about 50k miles...

 

my 99 has come and go problems...mine stays in 3rd at stoplights...take it in to crown acura and talk to john allred (ast. service manager) tell him what its doin and they will prolly say it didn't do it for them, however it will be documented so if it does it again or fails down the road you have previous records.

 

hmmm... sounds like tranny problems, my 99tlp just replaced tranny has already started to show signs again, I need a bigger tranny cooler and I'm going to test out the honda atf to see if there's really a difference, b/c when I just shift from D to P and to R I feel alittle Jerk now and then and I can here out loud the Gears Shifting, that to me is tranny problems again, I've been f**king around with my driving pushing it to its limits, i'm on D4 and suddenly gear down to D3 giving it more power, its amazing but I'm harming the tranny I think, and its overheated, Need to get a bigger cooler for it, I already got the mid size one but I think it really needs a bigger one, that's fine I'll just get a bigger body kits that allows space for it..
