99 Tranny help

(trying this first)got the car with 95k on it tranny ran like a champ, never any kind of slipping or hard shifts, except for the normal reverse. So all of a sudden one day started slipping from 4th to 3rd and back and fourth. Drove it home that way as was 20 mins away of course car overheated a little since 4th gear for some reason was at redline at like 55mph. So was going to change 3rd/4th clutch pressure switches and cleaning out all the solenoid screens i can find, as well as change fluid to dw-1 see if hopefully that resolves problems...
.. (If above fails)I've researched as much as i can since only have access at work but was thinking of opening up my tranny and rebuilding myself for $400 worth a try. Saw good write up by NSN and doesn't look to hard for those mechanically inclined. Just needed help making sure i get the right parts as his wasn't a 99 and i know 99 is a 4 speed. ..
..So if you guys could help would be greatly appreciated.can someone point me to the tranny manual for a 99 please???..
..Here's a list of what i think i need, please let me know if i'm missing anything. Rebuild Kit from WITtrans.com(if someone could get point me to the right one)New Honda ATF dw-1now would that kit include everything like gaskets to do the whole rebuild or i need something additional. again thank you for the help..

A '99 with the 4 speed automatic transmission is a durable combination. At 95k , it's probably just now getting loosened up. Before tearing it apart, I'd advise having the transmission professionally inspected. It may very well be only just a minor adjustment or something relatively simple. This could save you time, money, grief and frustration !

If the car and it's transmission were badly abused, beaten and neglected.....then after an evaluation and eliminating some basic potential issues, feel free to open it up and perform surgery if necessary.

Not advised for interns in training, ha..ha, ....jk !

how overheated was it?
run compression test and make sure no head gasket or other damage occured
redline rpm in 4th gear to make it home sounds like the clutches are well past toasted!
you got all the life out of this trans!
now determine if motor is still good and worth fixing trans

rebuild kit should contain all needed gaskets and seals
option is upgrade clutches to kevlar material

change of fluid etc now is a waste of money

So i bought a can of Transtune by Seafoam. Warmed up the car took it for a drive, went through all gears still felt a little minor shift slips. But parked it let it sit, went for a drive again and now got even worse and couldn't shift into reverse. So shifted through gears while parked and eventually got them all back. To me i was thinking clogged screens, solenoids, pressure switches could be causing issue as well as an abundunance of junk clogged up. Since i was planning to probably rebuild it myself anyway, was thinking of changing the switches out, clean out all screens, see what kind of results i get. Not really in a hurry as if i'm going to rebuild myself wanna take my time and would have to replace them anyway.
