Hey BDI....we were thinking the same thing. i called the company that makes them and they said they have them for both late model accord sedans and coupes. he said i should check though because the accord sedan and coupes side mirrors are a little different from each other. these side mirrors with LED turn signals built in look pretty sweet....the best i've seen so far from any aftermarket company. they are similar to the mercedes.....

Hey guys, keep me posted on this please.
I'd be interested in such mirrors if they are flush like MB.
Ideally, I'd want the motorized mirrors, but heard that is very hard to get from Japan.
If these look good, and i still have the power ( i don't care for heat if it doesn't work anymore), i'm down for group buy or whatevs.
peace

The mirrors that I saw this past year at the NY auto show, looked very similiar to the MB mirrors with the flushed signals. My friend has a 98 accord couple. Hopefully the mirrors are interchangable. I'll check up on this as soon as possible.

I know for a fact that TL side mirrors are NOT the same as '98 Accords (first year of last gen). Don't know about the latest accords.
So if you thinking of Muth signal mirrors that are only for '98 Accords, won't fit the TL's.

I think I am right...??
1998 Accords have their own unique mirrors. For that year they were fixed (Non-breakaway) The 99 and on Accords have the same side view mirrors as the TL (1999-2001). One thing I don't know of for sure is if the 98 Accord mirrors are swappable for the 99 and on style of the later Accords and TLs.

Hey BDI....when I spoke to the guy, he said that they can be ordered motorized, but we would lose the heat feature. i wanted to call again today, but was too busy. i'll call tomorrow. i saw the ad for the side mirrors in SPORT COMPACT CAR. The company i think is out in California- (916) 920-3220. maybe the guys out west can give us a hand. i'll post any info i get.

hey ACTUP.....checked out the site you posted.....those were exactly like the one's i was talking about. if you noticed, they were offered for the accords (2 and 4 dr. and for '98+ model year). my original thread was if the TL's side-mirrors and the accords were the same so that we can possibly buy these...

Wassup Mike.
My friend has a 98 accord coupe. Hopefully later today I can get in contact with him and try to swap mirrors. BTW those are the exact mirrors I was talkin' about.

Just tried fittin' a 98 Accord mirror on my 99 TL. I'm sorry to say that the base(the triangular piece that attaches to the door) of the accord is smaller than ours. I wonder if the accord sedans use the same mirror. anyone know??

Hey guys, by motorized i didn' tmean power mirrors as in adjusting it... that is a must for me... and.. a lot of aftermarket mirriors have a plug you just have to plug in, so that ain't a problem ( i believe VDO has done this with M3 style)..
I was talking Inspire option Motorized mirrors that I hear turn in (parking in Japan is tight)... Now heres what i was thinking.. don't know the cost but... check it.. get air suspension that lowers car every time i arm the alarm. and after car lowers to ground, mirrors turn in. That would be ballin. I dont 'know the cost but i hope les sthan 1.5k If i can get MB styled mirrors that are motorized in that would be even better yet.
