Ok, when I look inside my headlight housing it looks as if there is an extra lens in there. Has anyone here ever taken one apart? I'm guessing that it helps to focus the light to where it needs to be on the road, but maybe not?

Also, the outside plastic on both housings is a little foggy, anyone here know a GOOD plastic polish that I could use to buff them with?

 

Yes there is a diffuser (second lens) for the D2R bulb on 1999-01 TL. You can take it out but it will mess up the light output. Plus there is a metal reflector that looks really stupid if you take the diffuser off.
