given it's PIAA and not some cheap brand, should not be a problem

55 watts is the maximum I would go for the fog lights.

I think that 55Ws are fine, with no melting. It may fog a little if the weather is bad with the extra little heat.

I'm using PIAA 5000k Super Plasma which has a HID look, but not bright.
I think it might be a lot less bright for the 7500K, and should be very blue!!

So, I would recommend 4700K Xtreme Force!!
By the way, where did you find the 7500K(online store)??

yeah the 7500k are imported from japan online, unfortunately they are on backorder everywhere. So your saying the 7500k will not be closest to our HID look but not crazy bright? I can deal with that. As long as they are brighter than our stock bulbs geez

Do worry!! It will definitely bright than the stock!! Of couse, you can't compare the brightness with the HID. That's a different story!!
I know Piaa has good stuff, but there is a name "RAZO", also makes good light bulbs. You could try their PREMIUM WHITE ZERO 4550K which I'm using for my high-beam now. They have 9006 bulbs for 02-03 too. It's one of the whitest, brightest and cheapest(comes around $55) bulbs I have ever seen!!
I was doing some research of Piaa 8000k and 7500k light bulbs too, I just gave up becaue they always said they are back order from Japan. :o

Go with HIDs for the fogs if these dont last cause in the long run, the HIDs are a much better investment.
