KNN filter

Hi,

I installed KNN replacement filter that fits with the stock, but the thing is after I installed KNN, there is hissing sound from the filter, but when I put back the OEM filter it is gone. Later I found out that the OEM has rubber that fits with the air filter housing and the KNN does not really fit well. Does anybody know how to eliminate this hissing sound? Thanks.

the filter doesnt make the noise its the engine that makes that noise and the Oem filter is designed to supress the noise.

Had the same problem and spoke with the dealer. They said it is just the air from the engine escaping when the car is turned off. Nothing to worry about.
