6 speed TL-S

Just curious. How many of you, like me, would rather have a 6-speed manual tranmission in a TL-S than the SS?

I would, but my wife wouldn't. But hey I drive the most.........so I would opt for the 6spd.

A manual - in L.A.? You've got to be kidding! I used to have a 5spd Legend Coupe and it was fun to drive - but NOT in traffic!

Not me. A 6-speed in the severe traffic glut of South Florida sends shivers down my spine. I have no long, winding, gently sloping hills and valleys to drive through with wild abandon. I have FLAT, FLAT, FLAT, Southeast Florida roads. : - (

After many years of never owning an automatic, then 2 years of driving a 99TL, I must now admit that I am spoiled by the SS-Auto tranny. The purest in me would go for the 6-speed manual, but the lazy, Merrit Parkway driving me would vote for the SS!

Push came to shove, though, I would weaken and get the 6-Speed Manual...
