6 Speed swap questions...

OK I plan on doing a J32A2 swap into my 01 TL-P within the next year or so and I already know what I need for that swap.. Engine harness, TL-S auto ECU and gauge cluster... BUT I've been thinking it over and I might as well do a 6 speed swap while I'm at it.

My main concern is rewiring... What would I have to do to make my 01 TL-P function 100% properly?

Of course I'll need:
-CL-S 6MT engine harness
-CL-S 6MT ECU
-CL-S gauge cluster?? (not too sure on this one)

What else would I need? I can't seem to find a good DIY for the 00-03

Check the 6 spd swap threads in the 2g diy section. You need a lot more than just wiring.

But, are you planning to keep the tlp motor or go with the 6 spd type s motor cause that would make a big difference too. Then youd need the richie module if your keeping the p motor and if not then youll be fine with the 6 spd ecu from the cls. Check kris (fsttyms1) 6 spd thread at the end of it he lists all the parts you need for it.

i am aware of all the engine parts needed. I just need some info on wiring and such.

I plan on going J32A2 Type s motor with a 7th gen accord transmission.

Also, kris (fsttyms1)'s swap was with a 99... The wiring is completely different than an 00+.

As far as I know, a J32A2 is plug and play to any 00+ TL-P with just engine harness and ECU. The 99 Is harder cause it has the 4 speed trans

You ONLY need the 6 speed type-s motor IF you use the CLs6 ecu and wiring. If you use the TLs motor and auto wiring all you need is the richie module.

Thats what i meant i wasnt as clear as you were when referring to the richie module and how you can use it with the auto wiring and not just the tlp motor.

OK let me make this more clear....

What would i have to do to make a 02-03 Type S Auto to a manual?

Easier put that way since I will be converting my 01 TL-P to a type s... Engine , engine harness and ECU.

Edit: NVM.. Searched and found that all I need is richie's module so I can retain stock ECU.

I just PM-ed Richie about availability of the module. Hopefully there are still some... =(
