Other than an oil change what other service rec for '03 ? Have done most things piecemeal like trans change, brake fluid change, coolant change, tire rotat., filters. Dealer rec power steering fluid change. Never have done one on any previous cars and nothing in owner manual about it. Anyone has done one or just another money maker for dealer?

There is no set interval to change the power steering fluid really. The dealer told me that mine was dirty so I decided to change the fluid myself. The fluid was the color of Coke, when it should be closer to lemonade. Here are the instructions I received from RickRoush03 when I did mine.

1. get 5 bottles of honda/acura compatable PS fluid

2. easiest way is you can either suck out the fluid from the resivour with a mityvac or disconnect the line on the bottom end of the resivour and let it drain out

3. when its empty, refill it to the max line.

4. start the car for about 5 sec.

5. Repeat until you used all the fluid.

If you decide to suck out the fluid, use a turkey baster or you can use the pump from a bottle of hand soap. I used the hand soap pump and it worked great. The entire process took me about 45 minutes or so and it cost me about $16-$17.
