Yeah I got a letter in the mail about a week ago for my dealership down here. Said a free 45 point checkup (probably just a plot to sell you stuff) then they said if you test drive a new car you get a free car care kit. I also need new emblems and new exhaust tips, which my friend works in the parts department so (:

Im pretty shure they'll have some fun with our cars. Last time I brought it in for a tranny issue they checked it out and blew about 2 gallons of gas.

Im supposed to go in in about 1 hour.

It was pretty pointless, they just told me that my tires and brakes need to be replaced. My friends work there and were telling they just bring us in there and try and find something wrong with the car to sell you stuff, which is what was said above and what most of us already know.

Well, at least they didn't find anything wrong. I think something like this would be best for people who really don't know much about cars. Not that any of us know everything, but for what they are looking at, I am pretty sure we can all figure that stuff out for ourselves.

fugg it, just a marketing ploy, prob get people like my parents to take it in and have them say oh look you need part X which they probably don't.
