3M Swirl remover?

Finally got a bottle of this stuff to get out some light scratches on the car, but do I need to clay the car before I apply this? It was just clayed about 4 months ago. What's the process the yields the best results?

I was thinking:
Wash
Clay
3m
Klasse AIO
Klasse Glaze

Does that sound right?

Also, does it need to applied on the whole car or just the areas that need it?

Sorry for the dumb questions, but it's the first time that I'm using the stuff- better safe than sorry.

It definitely can't hurt to clay first. No sense rubbing grit and dirt into your paint with the SMR.

I can't remember, but I believe AIO is a polymer and won't bond to the fillers in SMR. If that is the case, you'll need to wash the car with Dawn to remove any fillers left from the SMR.

I would do the entire car. If you're doing it by hand, be prepared to work it in for a while. The longer you work it, the finer the abrasive particles become, and hence the less chance it will leave any swirls or scratches.
