3a Tips
3a Tips
Well, I finally got my H&R sport springs.
While I went to Autozone to rent the compressor I check out these 3A race tips. There were 2 different sizes. One was more like 3" and the other was like 2 1/2" dia.
Do you guys think 3" would be too big? I don't want to make my car look like rice.
What size 3a tips do you guys have?

I bought 3" in/3.5" out ones for SUVs (Part #62-2417). My main issue was the bolt mounting pieces stick out too much with the 2.5"-inlet ones on. That's why I went with the 3" inlet ones. Just go and buy a pair, try em, and if you don't like, return em. I did that like 3 times. The biggest PITA is they usually only carry one so you have to hunt down a matching one at another store.

Do you guys cut some of the muffler pipes to get the aftermaket tips on?
I don't like to show the small 2" pipe inside of the new 3" tip.
For example, if you see Nissan Murano, the exhaust tips look ok but it show the real muffler pipe which I think very ugly. On the other hand, Infiniti FX3 's tips look nice.
Do you see where I am going?

Around 1/2 the price of the 3A tip...
Found it @ WAL MART while shopping for camping equipment (they were next to each other)

Look exactly like stock, just bigger..
I'm considering getting some aftermarket muffler and replace the original one
That car needs to be tinted, somewhere around 35%, or if you want a darker look you could go for 20% all around. And you should consider debadging the trunk for a cleaner look.
Other than that, the car is very clean looking.
