Ok, I asked my dealer about the 30K service.
They quoted me $350.
I asked what it includes:

1. oil change
2. air filter change
3. Micron A/C filter change
4. PVC valve change
5. tyre rotation
6. the rest was all, checking stuff (19 point inspection) and lubbing hinges!

It is really really ridiculous what they try to charge people for this crap service!!!
So I told the guy I wanted my tyres rotated and my transmission fluid drained and filled. B/c I can change my own air filter and A/C filters. It takes like 40min total for both filters. Those were the only things worth doing and paying for!
I do believe in paying for oil changes and other fluid changes since I cannot do those nor have time for that. But, I absolutely will not pay for have "checks" and hinge lubbings!! When you get an oil change, they do that same 19-point inspection anyways. Man, what a rip off!!!!
Ok, I just needed to say how I feel so others don't waste their money.

 

Dealer quoted me the $349.88 for 30K miles svc which included:

Oil filter
Air cleaner element
Brake Clearner
Carb cleaner
washer (14MM)
Fluid (ATF-Z1)
Coolant (TYPE 1)
Washer fluid
Oild
Brake Fluid (DOT 3)
Washer (18MM)

Included in the $349.88 is all that mentioned above plus Labor which was $262.27. I guess dealers charge approx same amount for their svcs.

Ah....what he said. I hope they meant fuel injector cleaner, not carb cleaner. If they start talking about cleaing the carb again, run, don't walk, to another dealer.

And our coolant (at least '02s and newer) is good for 100,000 miles (look at the sticker under your hood).....

Seriously, the only thing you probably should do at 30K besides an oil and filter change is a tranny flush. Okay, air filter too if you don't have a K&N or the like. The rest of that is just checking this and cleaning that. Do it yourself and save some big $$$.
