30K Service
30K Service
Pascal, check to make certain that the dealership is not charging you for service that is not specifically noted in the Acura manual. I have found that most dealerships want to perform their own maintenance check lists which often times is much more than is required by the manufacturer.
As long as you can document that the recommended "Acura" service is being done at the recommended intervals, there is no reason you have to bring it to an Acura dealership and pay, what I believe, are rates that border on criminal. As an example, I have had my 15K and 30K service done by a local mechanic and paid only 20 to 30% of what the dealership wanted to charge. As an example, for my 30K service, Acura wanted almost $500. I had it done ( and documented ) by a local mechanic for less than $150. Yes, I could afford going to the dealership, but I hate pissing away money.
