3 blink mod

wondering if there or if anyone has done anything or knows anything that our TLS can have a 3 blink mod? like when i had my 03 jetta i bought a module from VW that i wired into the hazzard switch wiring and when i tapped the directional stalk it blinked 3 times.... i was wondering if the TLs have anything like this that can be done. thanks

seen it on newer audis and bmws, but never on an acura.

as far as i know its not available, and to be honest, probably wont ever be.

i know it sux that none have it... not even LEXUS or toyota have it either its redic... its a great feature.. ever since i had my 04 A4 with it i wanted it in all the cars i had after and i was able to with the jetta but not this. its kinda sad that GM has it but honda/acura doesnt... that is probably the one thing GM advanced on that the asian imports havent.

Seems like a cool feature to have. But is it really that much more convenient than holding the stalk down for 3 seconds?

The single tap blinker is amazing. Ever since I starting working at benz ive always wanted the feature. My buddys MK5 jetta has it also. I hate signaling in my car now

my dad has this is his 135 and it's so convenient. it seems like there would be some electrical mod taht could be done. but then again, the whole stalk would probably have to be altered since in his car you tap it and it 3 blinks or you push it and it clicks in to place and stays on.

if only...

Its not a matter of being lazy, but a nice convenience feature. It is especially nice in manual trans cars. Dont knock it till you actually have it and get used to it.

i'm with you there... transitioning from Hampton roads VA, where everyone signaled everything, then coming back home to kentucky where people use it 33% of the time was a shell shocker for me.

For the second part, i was referring to the turn signal 3 blink settings. I'm fine with not having that. Other than that, i wouldn't mind having a Benz again.

Everybody here does their own thing, some use turn signals, others cut you off, and some slow down everybody behind to change lanes.

Its about time someone from NJ said something!

But seriously, people on here are car enthusiast, so they drive better than the average. No doubt, Philly drivers are horrible sometimes. I just noticed that NJ drivers use turn signals less...lol

My favorite are people with $50K+ SUVs that cant use their signals. They must be broken or something?

The only slack I cut is someone in a VW/Audi. Lord knows the electronics are so reliable in those cars, the signals may very well be broken!
