Angry 2nd Gen Navigation DVD issues

hi,

i am new to this forum.Recentely i got 2003 3.2 tl with navigation system.But my navigation cd is very old i belive it is 2000.So many roads i am not finding it.I am wondering if any body got latest version let me know how it works and how can i get the versions and how can i back up my dvd navigation.

I have the black version 2.20 for sale basically in mint condition, It came out in 2005, its 8Gb with 7 million points of interest, its not a burned copy, its an origional oem machine pressed dvd from honda/acura, if your interested let me know.

Go to acura.com and see which edition has the updates for your city. At this point you may as well buy the latest release forr 200 and be done with it.

Info from another member -CF (above) says buy only pressed factory disc, The burned copy from a friend will not like your dvd or vice-versa

I once had 2.03 and then went to 2.20 and whoa, I noticed a bid difference in my area, when I get 2.40 I wont update for a long while, its stupid to buy a new dvd every single year but every couple years is okay. these acura navi systems are navteq based, I thought tele atlas was accurate until i got my car, i'm blown away by the accuracy of navteq maps

Even if you buy a Garmin or similar handheld - portable gps unit- you still have to update every few years. Things like roads get built, technology changes. If you are still on v2.0 anything- you are living in the last decade- that info was all from 1999!

Spend the money- you will enjoy having everything you want at you fingertips
