You mean in the market to buy a used car, which would be a new car for you???
Just kidding...It would be a driver's race in the long run. I've seen posts and articles with the Max being quicker, others with the Acura being quicker.

Ok, by the numbers:
Acura '02 Type S
0-60: 6.2sec
1/4: 14.8 @ 96mph
0-100: 16sec
Nissan '02 Maxima SE(Manual)
0-60: 6sec
1/4: 14.7 @97mph
0-100: 15.7
I had a '96 Maxima SE (Manual) for 7 years and it was a great car. With that said, I think if you give me the choice of this two I will go with the Acura, hands down it looks better. My year was the best looking Maxima IMHO, except for the new one, I think it looks very good too.
Also (and based on my experience with both), the way Acura here in Jax works makes me want to stay with them (ie service and treatment).
Last, the numbers are just numbers and in the real world, with the cars so close, is the driver and the conditions that are going to win a race. Your choice. Good luck.
