Question 2G TL amp and sub options help

really new to the whole audio amp and sub thing. I have lined up for tomorrow a deal on a seemingly good system.

"Two 12 inch rocksford fosgate r2 for sale in a box with an 1100 watt boss amp for $200 located in broward area. Used for a few months comes with a bass controller. Quality subs."

Is this a good deal or am i getting shafted?

ck the Audio section for guys more in the know
also look on craigslist for comparisons
Do you know how to ck the paper and magnet- whatever else makes those things work?

can it all be hooked up to test?
if not - its the ol white van story, 2 guys in a white van with big speakers for sale!!! only 200 dollars!

DO expect some idle rpm- low electrical power issues~ on the TL battery system.
maybe turn the tunes down at stoplights?

well, i appreciate the slammed compliments i actually just gvot the system and installed it today, as well as rolled my front fenders and got that alignment, plus cut some of the inside wheel well where the rubbing was eating away at my tires from. on another note, my battery just dies now. Im not sure if it has something to do with the fact that some type of adapter was placed on the positive terminal. But i can honestly say ive tightened both the negative and positive hoping that would be my issue, and boy was i wrong. i just turned it off, went to turn it on again to test it and car wont start again. the shit i go through is ridiculous

ck the main ground wire under battery tray= someone found bad connection on that recently

also inspect your `device` operation on battery
Ck starter draw- parts store can run free test to see if that's dying and taking battery power with it or requires more power than normal battery can provide to engage and turn it

Is it slow turn or no crank without jumper cables?

could it be? i just changed all my negative grounding, cleaned my terminals with chemical terminal cleaner and sealed them with the sealer a couple weeks ago

i actually looked at it again today cuz it did it again and i almost got stranded before work. turns out my positive terminal isnt as tight as i thought, and i cant seem to tighten it anymore because the adapter that is sandwiched between the 10mm bolt and the terminal doesnt allow me to tighten anymore, its even kinda bent. reason i found out is becuase when i pulled it straight up it came off, took a bit but id did.

Like I said, always suspect the last work!! especially when its your own~
it was loose enough to cause intermittent contact and not charge battery.
Do you have a multi-meter to test volts in battery with engine off and engine running?

Is this add-on part critical to the car? can it be installed somewhere beside on the terminal? If its stereo power there are options

im missing a cable for my volt tester. i used my boy's dad's tester and my charge is at 14.32 while running so its charging. im almost certain that the problem is that the positive terminal isnt tight enough. the adapter that is on the positive is crucial i believe, just not sure if it can be moved elsewhere.
