225 45 S-03's on stock rims
For those that have this tire size on the stock TL-S rims, have you had any problems? Does it look strange at all? I am ready to get new tires and am pretty sure I want the S-03's. Are there any other recommendations? Also if anyone has some good pics of 225/45s of any kind on the stock rim could you please post them. Thanks.

The S-03 is the best tire I've ever owned, nothing else comes close. PERIOD. They have insane grip, dry and wet. Go check their ratings on www.tirerack.com, they aren't a lie.
I had both the Kumho 712 and the S-03 on my Integra R. The 712s broke loose a few times where I never thought they would. With the S-03s I could take turns at speeds I never thought I could.

Those would be closer to Stock Speedometer
Would be just slightly wider than 225s
Good Choice on S-03s !
Those will be my next Tire as well

225/50/17 or 245/45/17 would be the correct sizes.
You want to get as close as possible to 25.7 inches total diameter.
I have 245/45/17's on the stock 6.5 inch wheels and they are simply amazing. (I wouldn't do this if I were lowered but I have the stock suspension).

"yeah i know. what i meant is a lot of people here got 225/45/17 and they have been running them fine no problem. getting 225/50/17 or 235/45/17 would be too much though"
Not correct. There are three seperate issues here:
1. getting the total diameter close to 25.7 inches
225/45/17 = 24.97 inches (quite small of course it will "fit")
225/50/17 = 25.86 inches (0.15 inches over spec)
235/45/17 = 25.33 inches (0.37 inches smaller than spec)
245/45/17 = 25.68 inches (exactly stock)
2. getting the tire width to fit on a 6.5 inch rim
215 = stock
225 = .4 inches wider than stock
235 = .79 inches wider than stock
245 = 1.18 inches wider than stock
245 is aggressive but still works (I am living proof). part of the reason is that you have 4.4 inches of sidewall within which the tire can bend. I'm certain that 245 would be too wide on an 18 inch tire
3. getting the width of the tire to fit in the wheel well without rubbing
all of the above work on stock suspension, you can search archives to see what works if you are lowered.
