is that a chop?
id save up and get this if it were actually made.
only things i dont like
1- bottom portion of the rear bumper looks like a solstice rear bumper
2- rear tail lights belong on a jaguar
3- even tho the wheels are bigger than the type s it just doesnt look right on that car.

yeah, its a chop i did, pretty much crossed a jaguar or a masarati, whatever it was, with the tl, and yeah i wanted the lip kit to be on it, so i didnt really know what to do with the rear of it,
but yeah with some tweaks and additions, i bet this thing could be a top seller with like a 3.8 V8 supercharged engine, pushing like 350hp

I spoke to the guy at the international auto show about 3 weeks ago here in miami. he said no more CL. they may be working on a 6mt TL but the SH-AWD is considered the type s for now.

thanks for the reply guys, maybe i should spend a good 2 or 3 days, and design a totally new cl from a second gen cl, what do you think?
i could make it look way more realistic, and it would be based off the second gen, so it will still be an acura originally

fyi the only 2 door Acura is considering releasing this generation so far is a tsx based coupe. The v8 motor they are currently working on will be put in the RL in 2010 or 11. They would never put it in a 2 door especially with Honda's withdrawal from F1 and their wanting to set an example of fuel efficiency.
Edit: To Silva. The 6MT TL will be coming out next November and no the SH-AWD is available on the "base" model. The new name for type-s is "Tech". There are several varying packages underneath both trims. Such as the HPT package(High Performance Tire) which features performance tires and a different finished rim and so on. There are way too many accessories to list.

damn i hate when companies do that
with all the different options
thats why the 3rd gen was awesome. the only option was navi. everything else was standard on the type s.
try making a coupe out of the current tl or tsx.
that would be tight.
like this but with a 4th gen

I forgot to mention it has a great chance of being a hard top convertible tsx based 2door.
The CL is long gone. The Integra became the RSX in the USDM market and is still made in Japan and will never come back over here again, There is a concept 2door in the works from Honda that would be similar to an integra/crx mix and sadly the "new" nsx was canceled not a week ago. :/ I'm not sure if this last one is totally true but its a pretty solid rumor, the dealership I work for is refunding a deposit someone put down on one over 2 years ago.

looks nice! I really dont like those wheels on that car though. Needs to be something different, they already put those wheels on too many Honda/Acura Cars like the CL, TL-S and prev gen Accord V6 6spd.

Well shit...if Acura doesn't start coming out with some new shit in a coupe to attract the younger/sportier generations...they are going to lose market share.
Their product line will probably ruin them if they don't start making some damn changes.![2 Cents](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/2cents.gif)
Like me...after my CL is finished...Acura has no options for me to stay loyal.
No offense...but I don't want a TL or a TSX or an Accord...so no 2 door options is lame.

Acura is Honda's answer to the mature Honda owner. If you want a coupe, Honda has plenty to offer.
