2005 RL Steering Wheel on 1999 TL?

Is it possible to do a steering wheel conversion from a '99 TL to the 2005 RL steering wheel?

I honestly dont think so, but you should contact your local acura dealership and talk to the serivs dept, Im sure they could give you the answer your looking for.

Yea, but usually they never take the time of day to sit down and think about what you are wanting to do, and they just come up with the most suitable answer, when in all reality, it might very well be possible. I'd look into it a bit more thoroughly before giving up on that idea. Personally, I wouldn't do it, because I dont think it would match the rest of my interior.

It's a beautiful steering wheel and all, but what about all those useless buttons on the steering wheel that won't control anything on your TL?

It's doable, but I think you'd have to get some of the steering column with it so you can get the plugs and clocksprings (is that the word for the connections between the wheel and the column?) so you can have the buttons work. Then you gotta mkae connections with the column connector. Not worth it, but you'd get mad propz for doing it (Much like the RL rear seat conversion)

the actual steering column looks really nice.. but those buttons make it look so complicated. plus it wont have any function for the 99TL..
