2004 TSX Rims and Dents

2 questions for you all. Will 2004 TSX rims fit on a 99 TL? And also what's the best way to pull a tiny dent out of the doors?

I think I need to replace one of my rims b/c it's out of round. I keep getting vibration in the steering wheel after balancing and rebalancing. And I got a dent on my door from someone in the parking lot. Came back to my car and it had a dent.

are you sure your rotor isn't warped? That would also cause vibration.

I can answer one of the questions. The TSX rims will definitely fix your 99TL.

what?

tsx rims on a tl? why would you do that? they are nastier than the tl's stock rims. and as for dents, i swear one day i will stakeout my car in a parking lot and 'take care of' any mother f'er who dents my door.

oh and one more thing

your rotors are defective, just like most tl's. mine are the same, wicked vibrations, super annoying, and dangerous. there is no fix, they will keep resurfacing over and over and finally they will be too thin to resurface any more. then you will have to pay $500 to get new ones. id say get slotted, drilled, brembos.

bad rotors would cause vibrations even when you're not braking and just cruising at high speeds?

I thought HEAT warps rotors? Not RIMS.

Not all true.

I got new rotors and pads when I took my car in for warped rotors at 25k miles. They didn't even put up a fight -- they said it'll be done, so I assumed they would resurface them. But the next day when I went to pick up the car, they had put on brand new rotors.

Too bad they fucked up (a long story) and I didn't even get a chance to bed them properly -- they are warped again. I'm gonna get new rotors and pads again.

Actually lugnuts can warp rotors also. Make sure all your lugs are torqued to the same spec.

I got the same thing at my dealer. New rotors at 44k and another pair 1k later because they warped again. I thought they should also do the pads but they didn't. So far so good. When I was in Cali, I had my rotors resurfaced twice before 24k. They didn't even want to hear about replacing the rotors and neither did Acura Customer Care. Here in MI, they just give you new rotors because they know they are crap. I go to the Roseville Jeffrey Acura. They treat me so much better than any other dealer and their techs are very professional and even take the time to talk with you about your issues. Been to Troy and hated them. Much like the dealers in Cali. So Jeffrey partially makes up for the shitty roads here.
