Why wait for anything...if you like a car that's out now, get it. Trust me, the wait will drive you crazy! Everytime you see the ride you like, but decided to pass on, you'll kick yourself.

Now if a redesign was due out in a few months, then that would be another question.(Had a neighbor who bought a C class and a few weeks later the new C was out, ARGHHH!) But I don't forsee the new TL coming out until the fall/winter of 2003, which is still a long way off. If you do wait, hell, you should have enough saved up by then to move up a class, say to the "E" or the "GS", or a bimmer if that floats your boat.

As for any info on the '04, the Japs are pretty good at hiding things until the last minute. The Krauts always seem to leak a photo or are just bad at hiding things, which is why you'll see spy photos of the new E class or 7 series 6-9 months in advance of its release.

Rumor has it that the 04 will have a major redesign. I love my 02 (which is identical to 03s), so you can't go wrong either way.

JPritch: I'm so glad I'm neither a "Jap" nor a "Kraut". :o

Yet another example of political correctness run amok! LOL..

Seriously, my choice of words was poor and I am truly apologetic if I have offended anyone with my ignorance!

Now I'm gonna take my Chink A$$ and get back to work!

I was just joking, JP I just wanted to know what your reaction was going to be...

Now a Chink I can identify with... I'm Chinese too!

I like my '02. I would not buy a car that looks like the new Camry or ES. Those are UGLY. The new Max looks pretty cool and so does the G35 (except the tail). We'll see if the style holds. Whatever Honda does, you can usually bet it won't be too far from the mainstream and will remain stylish if slightly bland.

BTW, I am a "Kraut" and I took no offense. I didn't even key in on the fact that you used the words until someone else said something.

If you like the current model TL, then BUY IT! Who cares if 2004 might be a redesign. You can always trade in if you find a car you like better. On the other hand, if you do not buy and the 2004 comes out and you don't like the new body style, you're SOL
