I wonder how close the TL will follow this new look. It's got a little CTS & Mercury influence.

Looks like a large TSX to me. Doesn't really have an upscale look to it and it looks kinda sporty to be a RL. The only thing I don't like is how the grille looks.

it would be nice if it was the tl. 3.5 liter v-6. that would put it around the maxima/g35 engine size. ? guess we will have to wait to see what acura brings out

First you have to remember that it is just a concept drawing. The grill if you don't like it could totally change by the time it comes out. So could the lights. But I love the lights! It does look like a big TSX. I doubt it is a mistake in that it couldn't be a TL because it seems too tall to be a TL. Also check out those hug rims and the ultra low profile tires...it seems like it has 18's.....I also highly doubt that any 4 door would come out with such low profile tires. Talk about a harsh ride. It may look good...but that is not the intent of the RL.

Also the text under that picture says that it would be released next year. So that would make it an '05 not an '04.

PS: copy an paste the picture to your hard drive and it will look better than clicking on the link.

So funny how everyone has a different opinion. It is a drawing after all, and we all know the final version will most likely be WAY different.

I'd never trust those magazine drawings. 99% of the time it turns out different.

Looks OK. I'd consider moving up to that, if the sheetmetal comes close to the drawing.

Yea you can never rely on those drawings. Its most likely someones personal opinion of what they feel the RL should look like based on the new tsx. Trying to keep it the family sort of.

That is very similar to the concept drawing we saw on the TSX, and we know that it never turned out even close to looking like that, so I have no doubt that the RL will never look like that.

That is unfortunate because I really like that car. I wish Acura WOULD build that car. I personally like the grill.

you must be blind then cuz the tsx looks very much like the concept drawing. it might not be as aggressive, but it looks very similar.
