2003 TL S-Type VSA Warning
VSA Warning Lights won’t go off.
After doing some removal and cleaning of throttle body and changing spark plugs, which included disconnecting battery, the VSA warning light is now on. Check engine light is not on. Checking car with OBDII scanner shows no codes. Car is running perfectly, just without the VSA functioning, which means things like burning rubber when I step on the gas.
Without a code coming up, how do I go about fixing this?
I do notice that the switch for manually turning the VSA button goes in and out without and clicks or staying partially depressed like the other manual buttons do. Is it a bad switch?
I checked the related fuses and they seam ok. What are all the fuses I should be checking?
Knowing that this came on after I worked on the car, I really would like to fix myself if at all possible.

first- lets make sure the correct plugs are in there- makes a huge differance in things
NGK Iridium or NGK Platiunum are approved
not bosch or acdelco- you will be replacing them within a few months!
vsa: no work done on brakes??- nothing messed with near the wheel speed sensors?
The switch, --does the light come on dash with switch use?- that means system turned off when light on steady
flashes when in active use on slippery surface -up to 16mph/25km

Sensor malfunction will throw a code in the VSA system. If there is no code and the VSA light stays on after starting the car, then it seems like the VSA can't get pass power-on system self-check.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
I used NGK Iridium IX plugs.
Did not work on brakes when I did maintenance and then the light came on. It stays on. Pushing the button does nothing. And there is no warning code showing on the reader.
What should I do next?

Unplug and plug in the connections on the 2nd throttle body and double check all the other connectors. Unplug battery for a while and see if it comes back.

good idea--when its funky--unplug batt and let the ECU etc. reset
make sure to have radio and nav codes first!!

normally we would suggest use clock fuse for ecu reset,,but batt neg cable and time may act different
