2003 Timing Belt?

2003 Timing Belt?

Do our cars have timing belts or chains on the 2003 TL ?

im at 77k, what should i do, besides the timing belt, as far as maintenance goes?

Timing belts need to be changed every 100,000 miles or 7 (?) years unless there is considerable wear. The only way to find out if there is wear is to visually inspect it, and if you're going to look at it, you might as well change it since it is a pain to access.

Change the water pump if you're going to change the timing belt.

thanks. it looks like i dont have to do any maintenance for another year at least. unless the tranny decides to go... again.... for the third time!
