I recently did this conversion on my 2002 TL-P as the Navigation Screen was busted as well.. It's not that hard and most of the things are plug and play, but be prepared to do some wiring work (especially for the clock). As I write this, I assume you know how to remove the dash trims and the radio, and do wiring work, but in case you don't, please do let me know so I can elaborate.

Video Resources I used for this Project:
How to remove the Radio, Navigation Unit, and everything in the Centre Console:
How to replace dash bulbs (includes how to dismantle dashboard):

First things first, go to a junkyard and find a non-navi TL. You will need these parts:
- The upper dashboard trim where your A/C vents are, along with the Climate Control, Clock, and the Hazard Switch. You will need this as the non-navi climate controls with the knobs take the place of where your Navigation unit used to be. Moreover, you will need to grab the Hazard Switch with this as the Hazard Switch is in a different location from the navigation model. Also, don't forget to snip the wiring with the connectors for both the Hazard Switch and Clock and save these for later. You will need to extend the wiring for the Hazard Switch as the Factory wiring is too short.
- The tray above the Radio. This will take the place of where your navigation climate controls are now.

Once you have the parts, grab yourself a copy of the Honda Factory Service Manual (Unlike most people, I will attach the link for you instead of telling you to go find it)

https://download2284.mediafire.com/5...ice+Manual.pdf

You will want to turn to the "Body Electrical" Section, and turn to "Clock". On this page, you will find how to connect the five-pin connector's wires in order to make it work. You will have to splice into the factory wiring, as the clock was operated by your now defunct Navigation Unit. I ended up splicing into my Hazard Switch Wiring Harness. This is where the wiring diagrams on the manual will be your friend:

Comparing the wiring diagrams for both the Clock and the Hazard Switch, connect these wires to each other using the wires you saved from earlier:

CLOCK: HAZARD SWITCH: WHY:
Pin 1 (Yellow). Pin 10 (Yellow/Red). Goes to IG1 (Ignition Switch).
Pin 2 (White/Red). Pin 9 (White/Green). Goes to Battery (Supplies constant power for clock memory).
Pin 3 (Red/Black). Pin 6 (Red/Black) Goes to Turn Signal Stalk (your light switch). This will provide the illumination for the clock at night.
Pin 4 (Red). Pin 7 (Red). Goes to Multiplex Control Unit, Driver's.
Pin 5 (Black). N/A For this one, I soldered on a ring terminal at the end of the black wire, and grounded it to the bare chassis by screwing it into the frame of where the Navigation unit used to be.

At the other end of these wires (extend them if necessary with more wire), solder on electrical connector pins (I don't know if you can buy them online, I bought mine at my local Electronics Parts Store, though I can check for you). These pins will mate to the existing Hazard Switch harness. Do be careful to match your wires to the correct colours.

Now with the hardest part done, snake the wiring for the climate controls behind the Bose EQ unit (the box behind the navigation unit), so that it is now located at the top. While some people remove the box, it can be done with a bit of patience.
Since you've now moved the Navigation Climate Control wiring, you can now take the old Climate Control unit, and place the tray above the radio.

After that, plug everything back in, and put everything back together, and Bob's your Uncle!

I'm in class right now, so I will try to add some pictures of my wiring job to help you better understand.

I hope this helps for the time being!

Jakob
