2002 TL power steering hose leak

Hello can anyone tell me if it's ok to replace just the top portion of the high pressure power steering hose, I think I see a clamp behind the motor where the rubber hose meets the metal hose, I have a free hose that the top portion is the same but the bottom metal portion won't fit my car (it's straight and mind curves back on itself), my leak is at the start of the hose where it's goes metal to rubber with a high pressure fitting, it drips on the top of the power steering pully, thanks for any help

You may be able to do what you're trying, but being the high pressure side....it may be worth the extra bucks on the OEM part. Check some online Acura parts sources or places like Rockauto. Your local auto parts store may be able to order the part for you.

I just did mine, I was going to put high pressure quick connects where my hole was. It’s got pressure so high it might blow those fitting straight through the hood. My new hose was 175.00 I was able to pick it up instantly and get to work on it. Make sure you get the right one, TL/p and TL/s are different at one end! You might even find a used one on eBay.

After all done.

TL/s the flare nut and the column. One horrible job to do yourself.

Damn...I guess this is going around. Was cleaning up my car and went to check under the hood for a minute...leaky hose up top where the hose meets the metal end...dripping down onto the support, pump engine and mount hardware beneath. Guess I'll be buying a hose from rock auto myself.
