Power Steering Whine with sweating outlet?

Hey,

I've been having the temperature dependant power steering whine and I was going to replace the input o-ring. I noticed that the output hose is sweating fluid.. Not sure where it is coming from because it is completely covered but nothing else nearby is.. Any Ideas?

Where's the clamp that goes one the hose??

Here's the diagram w/ torque for the outlet.

We are looking at the top of the power steering pump, the high pressure hose..
There is no clamp because it is factory crimp clamped..

Yeah I wasn't sure about that, mine likely got changed down the road by the previous owner because I'm pretty sure it has a clamp. Would need to verify though.

Clean the part with brake cleaner as good as possible and see if you can spot the sweating after some time if it seems to originate from the pump side or the hose side. Not like there's anything higher than that that could drip on it.

i believe there is a recall on the power steering hose.

My OEM hose does not look like Jeff's.
