Question 2002 TL (non Type-S)

I just ordered a 2002 TL in Canada.
While I was at the dealer, they didn't have the color chart for 2002 yet. So I simply said either silver or laguna metallic.

Since I was the first one the order a non Type S, they say i would have the priority to choose colors when the cars arrive.
( All 7 other orders are Type-S ) People are so rich in Vancouver! Well, now I saw the color chart on this site, I can't wait to make decision on which color my first new car will be!! I was also told that the colors offered in Canada are different than in the States.

So My question is in the first sets of pics in "2002 TL-S", is that car a Eternal Blue Pearl or Aegean Blue Pearl?

Also will White Diamond Pearl be offered on 2002 TL at all (if not in Canada, but in the states).

What does White Diamond Pearl look like on the 2001 model? Any body own one like that?

Today's exchange rate is 1.5458.
However I don't think the MRSP fluctuate day to day. Basically 01 TL was $37,000 and TypeS was $40,000. So, another grand each and I would say it be just about the same in the states. (01 TL was $28,550 and 01 CL TypeS was $30,330 in the states, so go figure).

That's a really good price. When I bought my TL at the end of last year, the msrp was $36k plus $1000 for freight and PDI. Does your $37k include that already. You get the memory seats, fogs etc. so it is a really good price.

However, I don't think I could have afforded 2002 model. I barely was able to buy mine last year. Is the dealer negotiating with the price?

Well... hope you get it soon... it is an awesome car.

Question

Adamyankee,

Since you have a 2002 brochure, would you mind sharing a side view picture of the 2002 TL (non type S)? I'm curious to see what the wheels look like.
The more pics the better...

Ya, the dealer was quite negotiable on the 2001 and for 02 there was still some room for it. Let's just say I think I good a recentible price for it.
Vancouver is suppose to be the worst city to buy car in North America.
You just have to be patient with them, and never show that u are desperate for it. Even though most of us are desperate when it comes to a car we really love.
