Think that front lip will fit our model TLs??

 

Matt, I was thinking the same thing. Looks like it won't fit without some modifications. I was thinking about buying the 2002 front bumper, kit, and foglights, and then graphing the bottom part of the 2002 onto my bumper (like the Mugen front). I like the two slits in the kit.

I think our '99-01 front would look better with a kit only IF we had custom fogs to fill that obvious "missing something" holes in the bumper skin.

 

Well it would be awesome if we could replace our 99-01 fromt bumper with the 2002. However, from the looks of the 2002, it looks that it may be much bigger thus making the 2002 front bumper not fit.

But if it did. DAMN! Get new front bumper, fogs and front lip. That would be SWEET!

Anyone else know if it might be possoble?

 

Yeah... theres no fitting it... you'd need the whole 2002 bumper.

 

I thought about gettin a 2002 bumper too just because of the slits at the bottom. But it was waaaay too much trouble to get it to fit on since the grill and headlights are different. I was going to bondo my WW front lip on anyways, but after i saw the 2002 factory lip.... i want to bondo that on!!! Factory front lips are expensive huh? Anyone know how much? Think WW will have a new 2002 kit out soon? Man... decisions decisions...

No it won't. The front end is totally different. I compared mine with the new one, and you would have to change the hood, grill, bumper and the fixtures behind the grill.

Thanks for the confirmation QuietStrom. I was figuring the same thing after looking at the light fixture. Oh well.

 

The 2002 doesnt share any body panels with the prior TL from the A-pillar up. Can you get it to fit?? Yeah if you do some custom molding work; will it just bolt on? that answer is unfortunately not.
