My friend has a 2002 Acura TL Type S. It's bone stock right now and we are thinking of modifying it. Do any of you guys have any suggestions for mods for the car. So far we have Clear signals in the back, Blue interior lights, Neon lights for the Subs in the back, and a AEM Cold Air Intake system. We want to be able to boost the HP to at least 300. So if you guys have any suggestions for mods please post on this thread! Thanks everyone~!

 

a boost of 40hp from an already efficient engine is quite a task! :p

but removing the resonator and adding the CAI would help, and there really isn't much else you can add to effectively add hp... except NOS of course

 

For hp, get headers (see this website under exhausts).

For improved looks, body kits, spoiler and lower the car.

 

Well a CAI, headers, and exhaust will help bring you very close to 300. That's the typical setup most of TL-S owners are running and it's been dynoed at around 235hp and 225 or so Torque, which is about 295 to 300 at the flywheel.

 

best bet would be headers
