I've been searching here and in general about updating the nav system. Lot's of threads in here but they all date back over 10 years, Seems like the latest maps available are from 2013. Is this it? Does the DVD update the maps only or does it "improve" the interface?

The system now is DB Ver ADB0720, SW Ver 2.03 which seems to be original to the model.

In the end, not a big deal, I typically use WAZE, and I even have a Garmin Nuvi LMT.

It just updates the maps. The original discs had a nice young lady. I updated once, and it changed to an old smoker lady. Reverted to the OG disc when the clocks went haywire, and haven't wanted to update since.

 

Don't bother.

 

IMO: I updated to the 2012 Disc, only because I found it, at the local picnNpull. Not worth the effort, as it's still 6 years, out of date!

 

Thanks. After searching and viewing a few more things, I've abandoned it. Bought a CD mount for my cell phone. Fit's perfect.
