2000 TL Front Ends Whirring Noise

Keep it simple. Noise used to be at low speed less then 30km/h (go away as speed picked up), now its up to about 60 km/h. Just a whirring sound while car is moving, not while idling or revving in neutral. Does not depend on rpm, not overly loud. Any ideas?

These continuous problems keep making me feel like throwing up.

Cant edit prev post. That was dumb, just went for a ride, the noise does depend on RPM. Getting too paranoid with all these noises.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Does it only happen if your A/C or heat is on or off?

I dont think its the wheel bearing since it gets louder as rpms go up. And as im going about 50 - 60 km/h the rpms go down so i can no longer hear it. I had everything off when it happens so its not the A/C.

I had a similar problem with another vehicle, (Jeep Cherokee), it was the bearing in the serpentine belt tensioner. I would also suspect the bearings in your alternator. Rev your engine while under the hood (via TB)to try to pinpoint the whirring site. Trannys and PS pumps can also emit these types of sounds.
Good Luck

if the noise's pitch changes after the transmission shifts, then it's engine related, if the pitch changes or volume changes as the speedo increases then it's the wheel bearing.

Also since it doesn't change at idle you can pretty rule out it's engine related so when you hear the noise next time turn the wheel and I bet it changes pitch and I suggest you get the wheel bearing replaced.
