Hello acura community ive been having an Ac problem for a while when i turn ac on the blower works but very little air comes out of vents ive checked blower motor works well aswell as resistor the blower when set on 5 turns superr fast its just once i put it back in the console no air comes out i pressed auto and off at them same time and all i get is _88

 

Have you ever changed the cabin air filter? I don't see it getting that clogged but I would check it. Does alot of debris fall on the vents where the windshield meets the hood(on the outside.)

On heat what is the airflow?

 

Yea i changed it already and cleaned the outside vents aswell and on heat its very low aswell once i drive is when i feel a little more air come out the vents ac is fully charged u can feel it come out really cold but very low aswell

 

Mix motor posibbly? There was a thread a few years back when I had my 00 tl tthat included instructions on how to pull codes from your climate control display and how to take apart and fix the mix motor, if I find the thread I will link it for you. Might prove useful

 

I did the auto and off and the only code i recieved was _ 88 and mix motor as in spinning opposite direction?

that link above may have some useful info. Snce you are getting _88 that means you have a code. If you had no codes nothing would display

 

Has the blower motor been replaced? I've seen a handful of replacements that rotated backwards, resulting in similar symptoms as yours.

 

Havent replaced yet just purchased a new one will reciece it in 2 days ill post new update asoon i replace it just replaced the resistor and that wasnt the problem hopefully its blower motor! Thanks everyone
