Well i destroyed the abs sensor trying to remove it for ball joint replacement picking up a Dorman replacement this am, but wondering about the connector...Does it connect where the wire goes through the sheet metal? My repair manual doesn't explain how/where the connection is made/separated. How Does It disconnect at the sheet metal where it enters the engine compartment? Could not find a diy on sensor replacement anywhere.

 

The brake sensor unbolts and unplugs in the engine compartment. No need to distroy.
