2000 Acura TL transmission replaced

I am kind of new to this but I just upgraded to the 200 Acura TL 3.2 after my first generation TL was totaled out this summer. My new TL is a dream come true but I have ran into this cars major problem, the transmission. It is currently at the dealership getting a new transmission put in under warranty so that makes me smile for now, but I wanted to know if anyone else has had this procedure done and if the second transmission that Acura puts in will work better than the first.

Thanks alot. My car is still at the dealership. I was hoping to have it back by today but they are taking a long time with it. Its been there since tuesday, is that normal waiting time for this??

Just posted in the other "Check engine Light" forum...they had my car for a week, because when they were fixing the transmission they found faulty engine mounts and had to replace them as well.

So there may be another problem in addition to the tranny.

IF they had the trans in thier shop it should take no longer than 1 day to do. Ive replaced them myself in the garage in under a day. The wait is probably them waiting to get a new one

Replaced my '00 transmission last week at 118k . No serious problems with it, but they would replace it for very little (as we just bought an 06 TL).
