Post 2 tone leather interior on Type S

Just like to see who would pay extra for a 2 tone leather interior on the 2002 TL-S if it was an option

Not me. I personally don't like two-tone leather seats.

sure I will pay for the option.
Custom made leather interior like those CL-S would be much more expensive.

No, I would not pay extra for two tone leather. I prefer the momochrome look of one shade.

I'd pay more just for REAL leather in our cars. Otherwise, what we have is already two-toned...and two materials.

No two tone for me. Not for more $

I would pay, but only w/ certain colors.

For example, I can't imagine a color that would go well with my parchment, but perhaps black/red, black/grey, black/blue, black/white would be nice. The 'ideal' scenario for me would be where black was on the edges of the seat (bolsters, head restraints) and the colored part was the insert that you sit on. In a perfect world, the inserts would match the exterior color of the car.

Yes, I'd very much like a nice dark blue TL, sporting 250-300HP, riding on 17" wheels and with a black and blue leather interior thank you very much. Oh, yeah - flourescent gauges (a'la Lexus), stiffer suspension and a more responsive tranny, too. Hey, Acura - you listening?!?

Notice how nice the AMG Benzes and M-series Bimmers look inside!

I would pay extra. I love how it looks on the Audi S4s, but why should we have to pay extra when they get it for free? Then again it is a $40K car.

yu888....
how can you say we have shitty leather bro.?
ever sat in a pasat, jetta, older acura's, even lexus'... ?
dude, my boy has a 99 gs, and that leather is toe up from the floe up... it's gross... all wrinkly and eaten up... our leather is perfect... and comfy too... well atleast mine is. how can you complain... our leather is not that stretched out type, it's the nice fluffy one that has nice "elegant" wrinkles on it. everyone compliments on the comfort of my interior... heck, my g/f loves it lol.

Thumbs up

I would totally pay for it, my uncle has it on his '00 Tahoe Limited, it looks really tight (black/gray) If the TL's had it, it would look TIGHT! Especially if it matched the exterior.

Why would it cost MORE for 2-tone? The extra time it takes the uphoulsterers to put one hide down and pick the next one up?!? Economies of scale??? Because I would pay it????

I don't know. There are some cars/ interiors that that does look ok, but in the TL?? If it was a subtle difference, then maybe. Probably NOT for extra money/ option. IMHO

Come on two-toned factory issued of course I would. I would love black/red, or blue/black and would kill for silver/black. Parchment and grey even looks cool on IS300 sport pac. with the tight piping!
