when I start up my car and put it into drive, as soon as i turn the wheel, i get one grinding noise for about 1 second. Then after im going straight for about 30 feet i get it again. The funny part is it always 2 of them. I guess i only notice this now becasue my sound system was stolen and im in silence. Anyone else have this problem.

 

how many turn you make on the wheel?
i can hear mine if i turn it all the way but that happens to almost every honda.

 

No, but this happens when im pulling out of my driveway, i turn it maybe 1/3 of a turn.

no it isnt loud or even annoying, but it sound slike it shouldnt be happening. Like I said I only started hearing it when i got my stereo stolen so its probably been there all along.

 

is the sound a light groaning type noise. if so it sounds like your abs modulator solenoids actuating. that sound is normal. you generally hear it when starting and sometimes during take off.

 

That exactly what it is that im hearing. Its a pretty light noise and I only hear it during takeoff I just wanted to be sure that it was normal.

Me and one of my friends both have TL-S' and have the same issue. I think he asked the dealer and was told it had to do with some **** I dont remember. However its supposely normal, well it must be if everyone has it.
