1999 Transmission failure = screwed?
The more and more I read this forum the more scared I am about my transmission failing on me. I have a 1999 3.2 TL which from what it's looking like, isn't TOO likely to fail on me, but has a possibility of doing so. My question is this:
The recall notice, I saw, was for 2000+ TL's. What happens if my transmission fails? I bought the car used, with 44k on it, and the used car warrenty they offer (2 year/25k )... but after that, what? I don't think I'll be driving 25k in the next 2 years..
TIA,
