I just bought an Acura TL and it's going to be repainted soon. It's stock Satin Silver Metalic...but I want to have the car painted to White Diamond Pearl, just the outside though because it will cost more for a full paint job. I was wondering what are your guys advice/opinion for this!!

-reason I am asking is because the door jammers/trunk will be Satin Silver Metalic

To me it would be like you just had a WDP door put on but your car is actually SSM.

Why don't you just buy a WDP then?

 

Do it right or dont do it at all. Have every thing painted or dont do it

 

I wouldn't. It's not gonna look good and you're gonna regret it. Save up and do it right or just repaint it SSM, it's a very nice color.

The reason why i posted the pic up was to show the silver + purple flakes... it's the color on the trunk

 

pretty clean minus the fenders... but yeah clean car overrall... dont mess it up w/ a half ass paint job... all or nothing as mentioned above

its in the body shop right now getting repainted. i'll post when i get it back. it won't be riceroni when it's done. i am 100% positive.

As long as the color is not too much different than the stock silver, you'll probably be ok.

now keep the failed attempt at the widebody off and get some fitment goin on with the stock fenders!

 

The car is going back to stock with the exception of wings west full lip kit.

 

just repaint it silver and keep it a clean ssm tl with a fresh paint job if youre just doing the outside.
