Unhappy 1999 to 2002 front end conversion

Hey guys I need your help...I just recked my 1999 TL...It sucks...The whole front end will need to be replaced...I was wondering if i could go ahead and have them change the front with the 2002+ front end...my bumper, side quarter panels, hood, loer lip underbody spoiler and headlights need to be replaced so I was just wondering, since these parts seem to be the parts that need to be replaced in order to convert....I have a 1999 with bodykit....I wanted to have the fogs also...so is this conversion possible...Thanks guys...LAter...P

I think so. I know that the hood totally opens a different way, but if you can get all the parts, I'm sure you can do it.

IMO, definitely get the Value front bumper:

You don't even have to change the lights. And I think the Value front bumper looks 100% better than the 02 (no offense to 02 owners ).

DISCLAIMER: This is Ken's car.

Thats exactly what I'm wondering.... I'm longing for fogs on my 99, and I love the way that bumper looks.... Although I also really like the 02-03's too...

If i was in your situation, I'd go with the Value front end.

That's sooooo nice!

the bumper itself is like around $500... then theres shipping which is an arm and a leg. but its worth every penny.

How much is shipping on the value bumper....I have to replace all the parts anyways including the headlights so what would you do if it would be paid for by the insurance company....wait I 'm not sure if they will total it out or not...But if they don't, then what?...

Look at about $500 for shipping. Then you gotta add the cost to paint it. So figure around $1400 painted.

Oh and it's fiberglass too....

No offense, but I love my 03 front end much more than the older fronts.

That awesome looking car is Ken's!:wow: Too bad he got into an accident with it.

Sorry for the mix-up. I thought everybody would know Ken's car by now.:p
