18x10 set up "Stance"

Acuraziners!! I was wondering if you guys can help me achieve the perfect negative camber and fitiment up front in my UA4 and what i mean by perfect is to tuck and sit flush within my fenders with no poke.

this is what i have going on right now
  • ISC Coilovers
  • Rear lower Ingalls camber kit or smart arm
  • Upper Wicked Tuning camber arms
  • Rear is rolled and trim
  • Wheels - XXR 521 18x10 + 25
  • Tires - Falken ziex ze912 235/40/18
  • Front control arm is stock

Okay, so my main concern is how do i get the front to be "HellaFlush," in other words what do i need as in parts and what do i need to do to make this work. As of right now i have the Ingalls upper control arm with positive plates (+1° to +4°) because i was riding on stock type S wheels for a little while and was lowered. When i tried to put on the XXR521 with the positive plates the wheel stuck out like a sore thumb, so i install the stock upper control arm back and the camber was better but not good enough. Now if i purchase the ingalls negative plates (-2° to +1-1/4°) would this so the trick or would i need more, such as alignment bolts and kits or other kits? Please let me know Thank you.

Please don't tell me what i am doing is ridiculous because there are a handful of 2nd gens out there with the same exact set up and specs. Thank you.

Thanks for the help!

Pictures!

As for the rear i have not dialed in the kits yet

My front coilover is not really maxed out it was just a test to see how much natural camber i would get with the stock upper control arm and i didnt get what i wanted, so do not mind that.

To get that to fit you need a shit load of neg camber, There arent alignment bolts for the TL, you need something to allow more neg camber. You should look into rolling your fenders at min as well or body work.

I went body work, i didnt want a crap load of tire wearing useless neg camber. That and i wanted a large tire without a stretch.

Perhaps Fsttyms1 could mock up some fiberglass fenders for a sideline business to help some of ya guys that like monster meats.

@fsttyms1, Thanks for the quick suggestion, but as for body that i dont think i am skilled enough for all of that and bondo is the most i can do.

let say i use ingalls negative plates which offer up to -2* of camber and roll my fender would that do the trick? also do you or anyone else know of other parts out there that would offer more negative adjustment or is ingalls the only one?

i am not trying to flare or pull the front fender, but there are some 2nd gen out there that have the same wheels as i and are on stock upper control arm and the wheels tuck.. and mines dont, so i dont get it...

the negative plates is something you definitely need because you need extra negative camber to have those sit somewhat flush which they still won't sit perfectly flush because they are so wide but they will be close enough that there won't be nearly as much poke as you have now. after you get the negative plates take it to a local alignment shop where they align lowered cars and they'll do all the work for you. You definitely also need to roll your fenders.

I dont know anyone that has gotten that wide a wheel to work without any fender work. And honestly i dont think you could get it to work even with -5 deg camber. You might get closer with a smaller tire, but i dont think it would be enough.

you'll need to atleast pull the fenders.. run some serious negative camber.

not true, these are 18x10 +25 and for being as wide as they are the fitment is GREAT and as you can see there is no crazy negative camber. The wheels look pretty upright for the most part and no body work only rolled fenders.

So ur saying the cd6 and ua5 have the same amount of space in the wheel well?

BTW OP ur car looks like a tank still. The lower you go the more tuck you'll get, not from negative camber, but the hub will get closer to the body. also you're going to need a bigger stretch

Not the same amount but VERY similar. The ua5 actually comes with wider wheels than the cd6 stock for stock.

I understand i need to roll the front fender but to achieve negative camber how can i do that when all i could find is ingalls upper control arms that offer -2 - +1.5. There is nothing else out there that can offer me more negative camber besides some knock off ebay brand..... lol

But you guys dont know any other brand at all?

also what are your guys intake on these 2nd gens?

and i will get the negative camber plates and roll the front fender and see where it goes from there. THANKS everybody

this 2nd gen right here is running on 235/35/18 with 18x10 +25 with stock OEM upper control arms..

Take a look at every picture you posted. Now look at yours. Do any of the ones you posted stick out of the fender as much as yours? Those that you posted with the 235, do they look as though they are stretched more than yours?

The only way you are going to get them to fit is with serious camber and some fender work.

Something info isnt right, or something. Im not sure how he did it, because mine are 9.5 +44 (you dont go any further into the wheel well than that without hitting the shock) and the rim hit the fender front and rear. A +25 would stick out 3/4" inch more.
