150K+ On Your TL?

Any of you TL'ers have 150K+ on your cars? Im looking at this TL Type-S with 161K on it.... its 10 grand with navi.

Any inputs are greatly appreciated

That cars been on craigslist for a while. It must be hard to sell a TL that has mileage as high as that one for 10K. It looks pretty clean and it has navi but the driver seat looks like the leather is worn down.

Ya, I live in the city. You could always ask for records to see if the trannies been changed after feb 2005 fr the updated tranny.

I have a 2001 CL with 120,000. It was most likely all highway as well,(Second Owner) but I still had to change the tranny at 110,000.

All I'm saying is if the tranny hasn't been changed after feb 2005 or if the tranny dies then I bet it would be hard to get acura to goodwill you a tranny, so if thats the case maybe you should pass on it.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm looking for a higher mileage TL because of the cheaper prices. Not sure about 160 though, but if the car was clean and drove okay I would go for it. Isn't it hard to finance a car with that many miles?

I would also try to talk them down though.

Had a classmate who's father had a little under 200k on his 03 TL before he traded it in earlier this year. Granted, the transmission had to be rebuilt shortly beforehand...sometime after 150k.

I know a transmission guy who had a 02 TL come into his shop with 160k miles...for its first rebuild evidently.

Yeah it's been deleted, I checked the car out just now, drove 80 miles for nothing. The car drives good and all, no signs of tranny failure, engine idles smooth and it shifts smooth aswell. Engine still makes most of the 260HP it should be putting out, feels quicker than my girlfriends CL-P. 1 Problem though, the manager who helped me is a cheap ass. He offered me 6k for my car that is valued through KBB trade-in at 9300. I just left after he made me that offer.
