+12 volt ignition source live during cranking

Hi,

I had an audiovox pursuit pro 9232s alarm system installed in my '02 S, from my dealer a couple years ago. I know it is remote start capable, which I would like to activate. I have this diagram of the wiring attached. As far as it looks to me all I have to do is connect a wire to a +12 volt ignition source that is live during cranking. I have 2 questions...1) Am I correct that all I need to do is connect the wire and I am ready to go? 2) Where is a +12 volt ignition source that is live during cranking?

I would appreciate any help anyone can give me. Please let me know if it is something I can do on my own or if I need a professional.

Thanks everyone for the help always!

Sorry couldn't attach the image. Please follow this link and select Find a Manual then select installation instructions. The wiring scheme is on page 12. http://www.audiovox.com/webapp/wcs/s...5798&langId=-1
