Ok ok I'll admit it...those :ar15: crappy blue bulbed hyper whites in my 1157 slots are looking cheesy now. A few threads back I saw someone who had the chrome/silver hyperwhites and I was wondering where to buy those. The look much more clean.

I went to PepBoys to get it. APC brand I believe. Do a search on chrome 1157.

I didnt get the hyper whites but I think I saw them have it. I stuck with amber because i didnt want to have any problems with the cops.

 

I bought the APC Titan (yes the chrome ones) 1157 Superwhite bulbs. I don't know what the hell is wrong with APC but they were just yellow, not anywhere close to SUPERWHITE. So I switched back to my Eaglite 1157, which atleast with my HID warmed up, looks similar when blinking. Save your money.

beware...i just bought a pair of 194 - chromes (supposedly hyper whites) and one of them shines a faint yellow and the other one shines orange!

no returns!!! does anyone have chrome APC 194s? Those are hyperwhites right?

 

I've got the APC amber chromes (1157) and the XC Xenon Chromes 194 (XC-194A) on cleared lights. Let me know if u need a pic.

 

Could you post one of these? It lights up amber as well?

 

 

Don't get the XC Xenon bulbs ... they suck! after 4 days of having them installed, they amber faded and turned to a pale yellow. I saw some amber LED's at autozone that I'll probably try out. Anyone use amber LED's for corners yet?

 

Yeah that seems to happen to all of them, fade. I tried the APC amber bulbs and I still use them now. They faded in a few days but they are still kinda amber but definitely lighter than the APC amber chromes, those seem really deep dark amber.

 

I think i'm goign to stick with the plain old blue hyperwhites from B1/Polarg...those are the closest to hyperwhite I can find that stay white!

Argh, does B1/Polarg make chromed bulbs?
