105k service parts list
okay well I'm about to do my 105k service in a few weeks and would like to make a list of things i would like done to my TL in the process.
here is the diagram of the parts i want:
#5 14400-P8A-A02 Timing Belt
#6 14510-P8A-A01 Timing Belt Adjuster
#10 14520-P8A-A01 Automatic Adjuster
#13 14550-P8A-A01 Timing Belt Idler
whats the difference between part #6 and #10? are they the same thing or a different device? which one is the tensioner?
#2 19200-P8A-A02 Water Pump
other than parts i was going to flush the coolant and that was it.
is there anything i am missing? thanks, god bless

i pretty much found my answer by seeking. the part #6 is the tensioner pulley for the #10 or #18 tensioner.
#10 is the tensioner for the 1999 models and #18 is for the 2000-2003 models.
this post was for anyone that had the same confusion i had.

wholesalepartsguy has a package deal with all the belts, tensioners, and idler pully for 295$ shipped!
thats a great deal,
you can buy coolant locally

i wish i had gotten my idler pulley done for my big maintenance 15k ago.
whenever i turn off my car i hear some sort of pulley grind to a halt. (just assuming it's the idler pulley, not sure what else it could be), and i cant pay to have someone go all the way in there again. so im just going to wait until it fails & fuck my entire engine up

ck the pulley by ALTERNATOR- its called ac tensioner but runs the entire accessory belt tension
Mine was noisy a while then finally replaced- part 85 bucks for complete unit aftermarket

water pump should come with its correct gasket in the box
valve cover gaskets if you sre going to adjust the valves, never hurts and will help
many honda dealers will do the timing belt/wp job for less than acura- if cost is a concern. Call and ask the service MANAGER if they do

I would replace the radiator hoses and thermostat now- while the coolant is out.
they will need it at some point and many of us are 8-10 years on them already
