09 tl intake manifold and ported runners parts?

I have all the parts, Now I just need to make sure I got all the hardware. I got new valve cover gaskets, intake manifold to runner gasket, gaskets for the the lower intake manifold to heads, throttle body gaskets, and a couple of bolts civicdrvr said I needed. Can anybody else think of anything else I need?

No I got type s runners that we're ported by nva-av6. The type s runners were already bigger openings but I had them ported even more.

Please please please do a DIY for all of this. My engine desperately needs more air. Also how much did he charge to port the Type S runners (not including the cost of the actual runners)?

He already had the runners so I didn't have to get them. I'll send you a pm I'm sure he doesn't want me posting prices on here in case he needs to charge more next time. I'll defidently try to make a DIY for this just waiting for a few more parts to come in

Stephen, the intake runners are the same for all model years in the 3G....when you said a Type S, am assuming you are talking about the 3G Type S....and no matter how big you bore the manifold and runners it wont matter if you dont have a bigger TB....look into the SHAWD Manifold and SHAWD TB

No I was talking about 2nd gen tl type s runners. There was a difference between the two the tl-p had smaller runners than the type s did. I got the biggest throttle body that would work without any modifications or loss of cruise control because I travel a lot. I have the 3.7L manifold sitting in my living room right now. I wanted to use the tl shawd throttle body but we cant because we are not drive by wire and I haven't seen anybody adapt one of those throttle bodies to our generation. I'm already being a guinea pig on this since I will be the first to attempt this on a tl p on here but I should benefit much more than a type s.

^^^ ohhh shit....totally forgot about that....

just make sure you use the latest MAF sensor...a lot of people on the 3G side are having idle issues from using the older MAF sensor...again just putting this out there...am not even sure if you guys have the MAF sensor....

I haven't heard of that problem with our generation yet but will keep that in mind. The only idle issues I've heard of from our generation is from gasket leaks.

This is what I was talking about and the reason why I got type s runners. Look at the size difference between the two. Photo taken from richardparker these are not mine.

For referance.
The runner in the rear are from a clp
The runner in the front is a type s

Exactly and it's not really mentioned on here. That along with the larger intake manifold is probably a big part of the power difference between the type s and base.
