I wanna know If I can fit some 04+ TL seats in my 03. I'm not a great fan of the Type-S seats. I owned a 2000 TL For 5 years and really loved that thick seat. I love the design of the 04 Seats and could get a hold of them but I need to know what needs to be modified first.

If I couldn't fit the 04+ Seats would the 02-03 TL-P seats Fit and bolt right up perfectly with no modifications needed plug and play?? I'm just interested in replacing the Front 2.

02-03 tl-p seats are gonna be a direct swap and plug n play. the 04+ tl seats might have diff mounting locations and the connectors are gonna be diff. so ur gonna have to hardwire it to the oem harness.

Crap, I love the look of the 04+ seats though..... I guess I'll start looking for some 02-03 TL-P seats.

Thats rite, Im looking more for a 2002-03 Seats due to less wear and also a different headrest than the 99-01's. Im sure a 10 year old seat from a 2000TL has more wear than my 03 Type-S seats!

also the 02-03 have the memory feature. the 99-01 dont. so u would lose that function if u were to swap in a seat from 99-01. so it has to be 02-03

mine aren't to bad i just have to clean them,but I have been lookin a set of type S seats for awhile type F int color so craig list is a good place to for seats
