Has anybody tried messing around with one of these? maybe retrofitting into a 2g tl or even just swapping the bulbs or what ever is back there?

 

Nah just change bulbs to LEDs and call it a day.

 

Might be possible but it will be a nightmare to get it to work. No connections are the same.

 

I actually think the hardest part its to make it fit (phys) into our Cluster, Bolts, Drilling, etc.

The electronic conections are not that hard and if you Have the Manual of the MDX could be far easier to make the conections.
The only real thing missing is the Gear LEDs for SS.

All other Slots are there (P, R, N, D5, D4, D3, 1-2).. But Redline is Wrong and Top Speed too dunno if the needle could actually pop out of line or have too much offset.

 

How much would this cost? I thought we had to solder new leds in the cluster, thought it would be too much work so i just put it off to the side.

 

You can solder new LEDs to make really bright and awesome looking gauges. But the cheap and easy way to do it is to get a kit from ledautomotive and just replace the bulbs.
